Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services to be provided by the qualified professional engineer or professional engineering consulting firm shall include the following duties: Provide engineering and environmental information for any applications for financial assistance. Conduct an assessment, to include hydrological or hydraulic studies detailing the extent of damage to the bank(s). Develop a final scope of work to include recommended mitigation if repair is not feasible. Develop final plans and specifications that meet all requirements of FEMA, US Army Corps of Engineers, the Texas Historical Commission, and any other environmental or historic preservation requirements. Coordinate with the US Army Corps of Engineers, if required, for any permits required to affect the repairs. Prepare bid documents for construction. Review bids and make a recommendation for award Provide project management and quality assurance services during construction.
