Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Contract Goals: i. To benefit children by increasing parents’ and caregivers’ emotional & financial support; ii. To strengthen co-parenting relationships; iii. To promote parenting skills; and iv. To provide practical child welfare system navigation skills. b) Classes are provided by the Contractor over a 10-week cycle using an agreed upon curriculum approved by DFPS. c) The Contractor will provide class schedules and class participant enrollment information to DFPS at least 2 weeks before the class is scheduled to begin and as requested by DFPS. i. Class sizes must have a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 25 participants. DFPS maintains the right to review the class sizes and schedules and DFPS must approve modifications to class size and schedules which includes, but is not limited to: (1) Class location changes; (2) Class enrolments; and (3) Class time changes. d) The Contractor will maintain contact with participants for the duration of their participation in the training. e) The Contractor will provide any ad hoc reports updated during the 10-week cycle to include: i. Attendance logs; ii. Absent Participants and the reasons the participants missed the session(s); iii. Make-up Training Schedule to include dates and times; and iv. Any other DFPS requested reports pertaining to class participation. f) The Contractor will provide certificates upon graduation date. g) The Respondent will provide both pre-surveys and post-surveys in response to this solicitation along with any other performance measures to ensure they maintain fidelity to their model. DFPS maintains the right to review and request modifications to the pre and post surveys from the awarded Contractor. The surveys will be submitted in conjunction with Exhibit J Work Plan. h) The Contractor will develop and provide a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Plan in response to this solicitation and may be used ongoing. DFPS maintains the right to review and request modifications to the CQI plan for the awarded Contractor. This plan will be submitted in conjunction with Exhibit J Work Plan. i) Awarded Contractor cannot charge clients fees for participating in a training or for any training participation-related costs
