Specifications include, but are not limited to: All work and selected materials associated with foundation construction for Garland Power & Light (GP&L) Olinger1-Ben Davis (OL1BD), Olinger-Wylie1 (OLWY1), Olinger-Wylie2 (OLWY2) & Olinger-Wylie3 (OLWY3) transmission circuit crossings at Lake Lavon. The project is located in Collin County, Texas and includes construction of twelve (12) reinforced concrete drilled shaft foundations and installation of four (4) direct embedment tubular steel pole bottom sections. Four (4) of the drilled shaft foundations lie within the limits of the lake Conservation Pool (WS Elevation 492.0) and all of the drilled shaft foundations lie within the limits of the lake Flood Control Pool (WS Elevation 503.5). Water depth within the transmission right-of-way at full Conservation Pool varies between zero (0) and approximately three (3) feet. Access and construction of drilled shaft foundations within the Conservation Pool limits may require use of matting, amphibious equipment, interlocking floatation modules, barge sections, or other specialized measures depending on actual lake water surface elevation at time of construction
