Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the Attorney General of Texas ("the OAG") requests that professional licensed nurses with documented licensure, expertise and experience in the field of insurance billing, emergency room and hospital care, neurology, obstetrics, or family care practice submit Proposals to perform medical record review, including billing records, perform medical research, provide written medical opinions regarding the mechanism of injury, the standard of care, reasonableness of cost and necessity of medical services, assist attorneys in deposition and trial preparation by providing lay explanations for medical terminology and anatomy, and assist attorneys in finding and retaining appropriate medical expert witnesses for prelitigation and litigation matters (“Medical Record Review and Related Litigation Services - Professional Licensed Nurse”).
