Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Work to be performed is in accordance to the drawings, tables, and documents in this construction specification. 2. Transmission Line Contractor shall follow construction procedure in Part 2 of the construction specification. 3. Transmission Line Contractor shall plan for underbuild distribution to remain energized during construction activities. 4. LP&L will turn off reclosing and enable Hot Line Tag if available. All switching requests and orders must be coordinated directly between the Transmission Line Contractor and LP&L Operations. 5. Transmission Line Contractor shall plan for both Xcel Energy’s 115kV circuits to remain energized during construction activities 6. Transmission Line Contractor shall repair damage to road and sidewalk during construction. 7. New poles installed near sidewalks shall allow for a 3’-0” ADA clearance. Consult with the engineer if the pole location does not meet the ADA sidewalk requirement. 8. Transmission Line Contractor shall pothole to a 5 foot depth at all proposed structure locations to identify the locations of utilities marked by 811 calls. 9. Replace one (1) of the existing shield wire dead end assemblies with a new OPGW dead end assembly GN-TL-16005 and SE-OL-TL-13018 for structure 2003T27. 10. Replace two (2) of the existing shield wire dead end assemblies with a new OPGW dead end assembly GN-TL-16005, SE-OL-TL-13012, and SE-OL-TL-13013 for structures 2003T63, 2003T64, and 2003T65. 11. Replace six (6) of the existing deadend insulator assemblies with new 115kV deadend insulator assembly GN-TL-16116, SE-OL-TL-13012, and SE-OL-TL-13013 for structures 2003T63, 2003T64, and 2003T65. 12. Replace three (3) of the existing horizontal post assemblies with new 115kV insulator assembly GN-Tl-16106 and SE-OL-13011 for structure 2003T37. This structure is owned by Xcel Energy. New horizontal posts should be welded on to the existing structure by a qualified welder. 13. Install twenty-four (24) single circuit tangent, post insulator structures with single circuit distribution for structures 2003T28, 2003T29, 2003T30, 2003T31, 2003T32, 2003T33, 2003T34, 2003T35, 2003T39, 2003T40, 2003T41, 2003T42, 2003T43, 2003T44, 2003T45, 2003T46, 2003T47, 2003T48, 2003T49, 2003T50, 2003T51, 2003T52, 2003T53 and 2003T54 per structure drawings and bill of materials. 14. Install eight (8) single circuit tangent, post insulator structures with double circuit distribution for structures 2003T55, 2003T56, 2003T57, 2003T58, 2003T59, 2003T60, 2003T61, and 2003T62 per structure drawings and bill of materials. 15. Install two (2) single circuit, dead end structures with single circuit distribution for structures 2003T36 and 2003T38 per structure drawings and bill of materials.
