Specifications include, but are not limited to: Public bus transportation, if such service is provided within the city, is preferred to be within 450 feet of the entrance to the facility site and there must be an accessible route from the property line to the accessible entrance to the building as prescribed in TAS. Any such accessible routes shall be covered with a hard surface material such as concrete, asphalt paving, or comparable surface material. Exterior Signage: Lessor shall be responsible for the exterior sign. For collocated offices, it shall read, TX Health and Human Services Offices. The lessor will coordinate exterior signage appearance and placement with HHSC and at the option of the HHSC and the lessor, exterior signage may include each agency name. The language for exterior signs will be the same as used for TxDot highway signage to identify the HHS agencies. Interior Signage: For multi-tenant buildings Lessor shall provide a central directory indicating the location of each occupying agency and shall update the signage within a reasonable time of request from the occupying agency. Interior signage will be more specific, i.e. Health and Human Services Commission, Department of Aging and Disability Services, Department of Family and Protective Services, or Department of State Health Services. Lessor shall be responsible for numbering each room or area within the leased space with TAS compliant signage as specified by the agency.
