Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Department requests sealed proposals to establish a Contract for commercial HVAC maintenance and repair, emergencies, installation and troubleshooting for Department owned and or maintained buildings at the DPS Headquarters Complex, Austin, Texas. Contractor shall provide all labor, warranties, rental equipment, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation required to perform these services. All materials provided under this contract shall meet the minimum specifications described herein or an equivalent approved by the Department representative. All materials and equipment, including thermostats, shall match existing manufacturer at each project job site (e.g. if a building is equipped with Honeywell thermostats, all newly installed or replaced thermostats shall be Honeywell). All mechanical equipment and materials installed by the Contractor must match and be comparable with existing equipment and materials. Equipment and materials utilized by the Contractor must be of equal or better quality than existing equipment and materials. All replacement equipment must meet current codes and energy requirements.
