Specifications include, but are not limited to:Labor Clean and Repair heavy duty vehicles. Labor Re-Tank repair one (1) tank. Labor Repair Core GENERAL Pick-up and delivery of equipment to be serviced is required - this should be incorporated into the pricing offered in Part 2. Pick-up shall be made the same day as ordered. Turn-around time shall be a maximum of two (2) work days upon pick-up. Delivery locations will be specified with each order. RADIATORS Clean, repair or overhaul (2 sides), and test heavy duty radiators for Sedans, Vans, Utility Vehicles and Medium, Off-road, and Heavy Duty Trucks. Radiators may be conventional metal tanks and cores as well as plastic tanks and aluminum cores, in any combination. If the tanks and/or cores need to be replaced, vendor should contact the Fleet Division for further instructions. Repaired radiators should not be painted. Radiator will have a service tag permanently mounted onto the radiator or tank indicating date of service and vendor name. An authorized (to be noted on Purchase Order) City employee must authorize all core replacements (radiators) and all services and purchases. When a new core is installed, the old core must be returned to the City upon delivery of unit or radiator. Service definitions are as follows: 1. Clean & Repair – clean and repair leaks in the tanks and cores 2. Re-Tank – clean, repair or replace tanks 3. Re-Core – clean and repair or replace cores Note: All Radiators Are To Be Tested Before Being Returned To Service A/C CONDENSERS & TRANSMISSION COOLERS Clean, repair, and test A/C condensers and Transmission coolers to OEM specifications. WATER, FUEL AND HYDRAULIC TANKS Clean, repair, refinish and test all tanks to OEM specifications. AIR-TO-AIR COOLERS Clean, repair, and test all air-to-air coolers to OEM specifications. Note: All Air-To-Air Coolers Are To Be Tested Before Being Returned To Service
