Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Fort Worth is seeking proposals to provide and operate an “Alarm Management Solution,” hereafter referred to as a “system”, and all other necessary equipment and services. The Proposer shall develop all necessary interfaces to upload data from the City’s current primary F.A.M.S database to populate the system. Effective interfaces shall ensure that all parties share and benefit from the most current and accurate information and do not cause any disruption to the City and Police operations. 31.1.1 The system should have a sign-up page so that new or existing users can apply for new permits. 31.1.1.1 All website pages should have City branding to blend seamlessly with the current City customer service pages. 31.1.2 The system should be able to automatically generate a permit certificate and send it to the customer. The system should allow for alternative delivery methods for those customers that don’t provide an e-mail address. 31.1.3 The system should be able to differentiate between active and inactive permits so that the Police Department does not send units to alarm locations with inactive permits. 31.1.4 The system should allow permits to be issued for more than one year. 31.1.5 The system should be able to differentiate between different permit types and their associated fees. (Residential, Commercial, Low Income, Government) 31.1.5.1 Low income determination is based on poverty level statistics which get updated annually from publicly available government data. The vendor must be able to manage this low income validation process. 31.1.5.2 The vendor should be able to support multi-tenant complexities. (Ex. An apartment complex main office is commercial, but the individual units are residential.)
