Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1 Contractor shall perform the activities for an assessment and gap analysis of Austin Energy’s Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System4.1.2 Contractor shall provide senior-level safety consultant(s) with electric utility experience (at least 10 years’ experience working in a safety oversight capacity either at or with electric utilities with transmission, distribution and generation) to lead and facilitate the analysis with Austin Energy’s existing resources and personnel.4.1.3 Contractor shall review Austin Energy’s current safety program, system and elements including policies, programs, procedures, goals and strategic indicators, training, organizational structure, staffing and titles. This review will consist of two main tasks: i.Review of existing program. Information will be provided electronically uponcontract award by Austin Energy describing program elements which will include written program documents, work processes or work flow diagrams, procedures, emergency plans, organization charts and/or job title descriptions, and Austin Energy’s corporate safety manual. In total, these documents combined include approximately 400 pages for review. ii.Discuss documents with Austin Energy safety staff and management. Total meeting time is estimated to not exceed 16 hours.
