Specifications include, but are not limited to: Will perform drug and alcohol testing and MRO services, in strict compliance with all applicable federal and state legal requirements – including, without limitation, HIPAA, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“DHHS”) and U.S. Department of Transportation(“DOT”) requirements on chain of custody and other testing protocols, U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) requirements on commercial motor vehicles drivers, U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (“PHMSA”) requirements on gas storage facility operators, and Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education requirements on the testing of police and security officers – on employees – including without limitation, commercial motor vehicle drivers, gas storage facility operators, police officers and security officers, and any other employee designated by LCRA. Testing requirements differ for each employee depending on job duties and regulatory requirements, and may include pre-employment, pre-placement, random, post-accident, return to duty, follow-up and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug tests.
