Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide Desktop, Break/Fix, Asset Management, IMAC, Receiving/Shipping and Project Support Services. There are approximately 6500 PCs and laptops and approximately 3500 peripheral devices generating approximately 1200 Desktop and 300 Break/Fix tickets per month. There is resident desktop support staff at four downtown buildings for hands on and remote support, and dispatched to remote sites when necessary. Most Dallas County PCs and laptops are Dell products and most of the printers in use are HP desktop printers or Sharp MFPs provided as standard desktop equipment. There are other peripherals such as tablets, scanners and bar code printers from other manufacturers. Microsoft products are the standard desktop office suite. There are other clients loaded on the PCs to provide access to applications like Oracle, Odyssey, OnBase, Kronos and other applications. All Windows PCs are imaged with IT developed images that contain various clients and drivers.
