Specifications include, but are not limited to: remediation of the movement of the building at 2571 North Earl Rudder Freeway in Bryan, Texas. B. Subterranean movement has caused areas of the building and site to heave causing damage to the site paving, brick veneer, exterior door function, site drainage and roof parapet. C. The area of the Work is approximately 38,000 sf of site that includes regrading of the site, a new storm sewer system and a new structural slab and piers at the covered dropoff. The Work includes the demolition of roughly 288 sf of existing brick veneer and salvaging this veneer to replace brick units that are cracked, roughly 65 sf. The Work includes providing control joints in the existing veneer wall, roughly 115 linear foot (lf). The Work includes repointing roughly 20 lf of mortar joints. The Work includes the installation of four (4) new downspouts at roughly 30-35’ each, connected to the new storm sewer system along with the connection of the existing downspouts to the new storm sewer system. The Work includes the replacement of the parapet flashing at the roof perimeter of the building. The Work includes the modification of existing doors (seven (7) wood doors that require hardware adjustment and one (1) storefront door that requires trimming) within the building and replacement of existing closers (four (4) double doors at main building entry).
