Specifications include, but are not limited to: Desired outcomes: Design and develop a model for public-private partnerships current to today’s needs and opportunities that ensure children have access to quality Pre-K services for 3 and 4 year olds. 1. Document the history of Fort Worth ISD in partnering with child care and Head Start towards improved quality services and mixed delivery system for Pre-K; 2. Help co-leaders lead a collaborative process to design public-private partnerships for Pre-K delivery that leverage community-based options and transfer Pre-K funding to community programs; 3. Convene finance principals from ISD and community to design a financial model that aligns; 4. Develop recommendations for the ISD, ELA and community partners to roll out a mixed delivery system for Pre-K that includes 3- and 4-year olds including a timeline; 5. Design parent voice and recommendations into the process and include recommendations for parent outreach, enrollment and engagement. 6. Utilize an equity lens and framework to ensure access to quality services for all children and families. Management (ability to:) 1. Guide and support the management process for the early learning, PreK-2nd project. 2. Develop action plans for planning. 3. Organize and implement planning meetings. 4. Support child care centers in the implementation, e.g., budget, supplies, vendors. 5. Ensure district compliance with board policy. Communication (ability to:) 1. Provide information for dissemination for program clarification and compliance. 2. Develop and coordinate presentations for meetings and trainings. 3. Maintain communication between departments and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, e.g., principals, directors, administrators, faculty, and community. 4. Explain objectives, goals, activities, and action plan to leaders and other stakeholders 5. Coordinate and execute management committee meetings, i.e., prepare agendas, meeting announcements and marketing materials.
