The City of Fort Worth invites agencies to participate in our Request for Proposals (RFP) for Community Based Programs. In 2007, the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Board started the Community Based Program to award funds to local non-profit organizations to support programs that support the Crime Control and Prevention District’s vision and goals. Community based organizations submit proposals every year to compete for these funds. Programs applying must meet at least one of the CCPD goals. In addition, the CCPD Board has placed special emphasis on funding programs that address literacy instruction or skills for children ages 0-9. Registered nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations interested in submitting a proposal must meet all eligibility criteria as outlined in section 31.3. The CCPD Community Based Programs is competitively awarded on an annual basis. If awarded, funds are not guaranteed for future years.
