Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Model CP1 Standard Construction Series FRP Door and Frame as manufactured by Chem-Pruf Door. A. Doors (CP1-Standard) shall be made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) using chemically proven resins resistant to contaminants typically found in the environment for which these specifications are written. Doors shall be 1 3/4 inch thick and of flush construction, having no seams or cracks. All doors up to 4'0 x 8'0 shall have equal diagonal measurements with a maximum tolerance of +/- 1/32 inch. B. Door Plates shall be 1/8 inch thick, molded in one continuous piece, starting with a 25 mil gelcoat of the color specified, integrally molded with at least two layers of 1.5 ounce per square foot fiberglass mat and one layer of 16 ounce per square yard unidirectional roving. This will yield a plate weight of 0.97 lbs per square foot at a ratio of 30/70 glass to resin. C. Stiles and Rails shall be constructed starting from the outside toward the inside, of a 25 mil gel coat of the color specified followed by a matrix of at least three layers of 1.5 ounce per square foot of fiberglass mat. The stile and rail shall be molded in one continuous piece to a U-shaped configuration and to the exact dimensions of the door. In this manner there will be no miter joints or disparate materials used to form the once-piece stile and rail.
