Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Legislative Reference Library: 1. Demolish existing office partitions 2. Install new custom architectural casework, office partitions, and doors B. Restroom: 1. Demolish an existing a small section of wall, one toilet partition, millwork, plumbing fixtures, and wall and floor tile finishes. 2. Build a new wall. 3. Install tile floor and wainscot, apply gypsum plaster veneer on both sides of new wall. 4. Fabricate and installs a custom longleaf pine door and two frames (by Owner) 5. Fabricate and installs vanity and lavatory millwork with granite countertops 6. Extend mechanical and electrical service to the new space 7. Adjust sprinkler heads and fire alarm system to the new configuration (by Owner) 8. Patch remaining walls to match and blend with new construction. 9. Paint all walls and ceilings in the newly‐created area 10. Coordinate all work within an operating office environment in a historic landmark that is open to the public daily. C. No impact is anticipated on historic construction, but care should be taken during cutting and patching to ensure no historic material is impacted without Owner knowledge and Architect's direction and oversight. D. Install temporary partitions and doors to isolate work areas while retaining emergency egress and operational paths through the Capitol. E. General Conditions and Temporary Facilities will note the requirements to maintain a dust free environment, maintain emergency egress paths, and stage the work to avoid conflict with visitor traffic.
