Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing buckets designed for food scraps in commercial kitchens and for Austin Resource Recovery’s (“ARR”) re-blended paint program. 3.1.1 Capacity and Appearance: There is no color preference for these Buckets. The Buckets shall: A. Have a 3.5 gallon capacity; B. Be a height of 10.80 inches with a 0.010 allowable variance; C. Have a maximum fill level of 448 fluid ounces; and D. Have a bottom sprue area that is flush with the bucket, no center nipple or items protruding permitted on the bottom. 3.1.2 Material: The Buckets shall be made from 90 mil (or 0.09 inches) high-density polyethylene (“HDPE”) plastic. 3.1.3 Handles: The Bucket must have a wire handle that shall be 12 gauge galvanized wire with an injection molded plastic grip. 3.1.4 Lid Requirements: Bucket must include a solid gasket snap on top lid that is made to fit the 3.5 gallon bucket with tear strip seal contents.
