Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Vendor will provide a hotline/call center service where benefits eligible employees can describe their care need. After eligibility is verified, a database of care providers is searched and suitable providers are contacted with the employees’ care request. 2. Vendors will provide (either through their own organization or U.S. based subcontractors) back up child and elder care through both in-home and center-based solutions. 3. All back up care providers are required to utilize Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) trained staff. The staff must be fully licensed by the State of Texas through Texas Child Care Licensing (CCL). 4. The program must contain an in-home and center-based back up care option for ten (10) days a year, per eligible individual. 5. The back up care option must be available inside and outside the city of Houston, so benefits eligible employees residing both inside and outside the city limits can utilize the service. 6. Employee co-payment, for in-home care, should be approximately $6 per hour. 7. Employee co-payment, for center-based care, should be approximately $15 per child/ $25 per family per hour. 8. Provide two (2) pricing structures in the Pricing/Delivery Information section: a. All employees eligible to receive ten (10) days of back up care per year. b. Tiered structure based upon employment eligibility: • Full-Time employees = ten (10) days of back up care per year. • Part-Time employees = eight (8) days of back up care per year. • Supplemental employees = six (6) days of back up care per year.
