Specifications include, but are not limited to: For internet based auctions: 1. Hosting of web-based auctions and posting of any/all items for sale on a secure website. 2. Requiring that a bidder must register with the auction company for security and confidence of payment for purchased items. 3. Processing all required payments and taxes from bidders. 4. Issuing auction proceed payment to the City. 5. Maintaining all files pertaining to the auction including sales tax exemptions and resale forms. 6. Advising City staff on posting of items for sale, starting bids, and reserves. 7. Advertising of all auctions. 8. Generating invoices for paid bidders and for City records. 9. Submitting required sales tax monies to the State. 10. Maintaining current Texas auctioneer’s licensing for the term of the contract. 11. Any additional task or process as required by the State or Federal law. For live auctions: 1. Operating live auction at assigned location. 2.
