Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review building blueprints and specifications and current asbestos containing building materials data to determine the scope of asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) that will impact the project. As part of this process the contractor may be required collect and have analyzed samples from any additional materials as deemed necessary for the verification of asbestos content of materials in the work area that may have not been tested or have been added to the space after the date of the survey for the work area. 2. Development of asbestos abatement contract documents including all necessary specifications and drawings as they relate to a construction project. 3. Assist Facilities Services staff in the review of asbestos abatement contract bid documents. 4. Creation of estimates for asbestos abatement activities. 5. Assist Facilities Services staff in developing scheduling needs with the client, the construction general contractor, and the asbestos abatement contractor. 6. Oversight of asbestos abatement contractors including submission of all state required permits and documents. 7. Provide fulltime project management of asbestos abatement activities during all phases of the project 8. Provide as part of the project management daily air monitoring and analysis services by phase contrast microscopy. All said sample analysis shall be conducted by analyst that are enrolled in and deemed proficient in the QC/QA program of the associated laboratory. The laboratory shall be listed as proficient in Asbestos fiber counting programs that are administered by the American Industrial Hygiene Association. 9. Full cost documentation including daily work logs.
