Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Artificial Reef Program (ARP) requires a contractor to provide marine services to design, manufacture, and deploy 150, 160, 170 OR 180 (bidding on all four scenarios) low-relief reefs to be used as low relief structures at Big Man’s Reef (GA-220) in a specific configuration. 1.2. Work will take place at Big Man’s Nearshore Reef (Outer Continental Shelf – OCS – block Galveston Area 220), located six (6.6) nautical miles offshore and sixteen (16.7) nautical miles from the Galveston Island Jetty in the Gulf of Mexico offshore Texas (Attachment 1). 1.3. Contractor shall be responsible for deploying reef structures and completing final side scan survey at reef site by 31 AUGUST 2019. Deployment zones and spacing requirements within the reef will be designated by TPWD and discussed with awarded respondent(s) but is generally listed in Attachment 2.
