Annual quantity: 5,000 tons, material is used for filling potholes and asphalt street overlay, loaded on city trucks at vendor plant. Material described under item 1 of the bid proposal documents must meet and/or exceed specification requirements as stated in the latest TXDOT Standard Specifications for Construction of Highway Street and Bridges, item 340. All bidders must submit with their bid proposal detail specifications on the TxDOT approved mixture design for Item 340, Type D for approval. The detail mixture design type specifications shall include but not limited to the following information: The combined aggregate gradation, source, specific gravity, and percent of each material used; Results of all applicable tests The mixing and molding temperatures The signature of the Level II person or persons who performed the design; The date the mixture design was performed; and A unique identification number for the mixture design Item No. 2: Name: HPPM High Performance, Hot Mix, Cold- Laid Asphalt Concrete Pavement (RAP/RAS) Allowed Description of Material: Hot Mix, Cold- Laid Asphalt Concrete Pavement, TXDOT item 334, high performance cold mix, loaded on city trucks at vendor plant. Annual quantity: 300 tons Material described under item 2 of the bid proposal documents must met and/or exceed specification requirements as stated in the latest TXDOT Standard Specifications for Construction of Highway Street and Bridges, item 334. All bidders must submit with their bid proposal detail specifications on the TxDOT approved mixture design for Item 334, Hot Mix Cold- Laid Asphalt Concrete Pavement for approval.
