Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this rotation list is to provide professional Landscape Architectural services to various City of Austin departments in order to accommodate, in a timely manner, the development of Landscape Architecture projects. Consultant services which may be required include, but are not limited to: Preliminary Studies\Plans, Assessments and reports including Master Plans Programming, schematic and design development phases Sustainable Design /(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)LEED implementation and Sustainable SITES Initiative Site Analysis ‐ Site inventory and analysis including, grading , drainage, utility wet and dry infrastructure and circulation studies that may impact the size and layout of the improvements based on meeting national, regional and local accessibility code requirements. Public Facilitation\Engagement – Conducting and/or participating in public information meetings to gather information from various stakeholder groups relevant to each individual project. Including developing and implementing surveys and the utilization of social media. Not all projects will require this component and the requirement will be determined by project and department. Design Development – Site development, programming, conceptual drawings and illustrations for the purposes of expressing design intent and as potential graphic material and research for stakeholder presentations\meetings including City of Austin Boards and Commissions as deemed necessary. Develop designs that promote “landscapes that reduce water demand, filter and reduce storm‐water runoff, provide wildlife habitat, reduce energy consumption, improve air quality, improve human Construction Documents and Construction Phase Services – Development of grading and drainage, construction layout including hardscape, irrigation, and planting plans including specifications. Some project types may require Architecture registration, Civil and or MEP engineering certifications. Development of general contract documents Integration of hazardous materials documents (prepared by others) into the Bid Documents Estimates
