Specifications include, but are not limited to: - Contractor shall provide wound care services and treat RSSLC residents for all spectrums of skin integrity in the inpatient and outpatient setting. - Contractor shall visit our facility to see our individuals and provide specialized treatment and collaborate with RSSLC primary care providers and nurses for wound care management. - Contractor shall manage pressure ulcers, infectious wounds, injury wounds, or any wounds that have failed improvement with primary care management. - Services to be performed by Contractor in a timely manner and as necessary for the health and welfare of RSSLC individuals. - Contractor shall come to the facility to assess the patient on a weekly basis or as needed. - All services must meet the standard required by the Medical Director of Richmond State Supported Living Center (RSSLC). - Contractor shall have knowledge of methods and procedures in the field of general medicine and of the principle of development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment. - Contractor shall have skill in the care and treatment of patients with intellectual disabilities and in the use of medical diagnostics and wound care services. -Contractor will provide training to healthcare staff and direct care staff on the care of wounds as needed. - Contractor will provide a progress note with documentation of assessment and plan for each patient evaluated for the PCP to review. -Contractor must provide a contractor log sheet each time they perform services on campus.
