Specifications include, but are not limited to: Stenographic Court Reporting Services is defined as the verbatim reporting method used to primarily record legal proceedings, public hearings, and public meetings. The information recorded may be required to be transcribed and an official transcript prepared, which must be certified by the court reporter. Stenographic Court Reporters must attend the proceeding; record the proceeding, mark exhibits, and swear in witnesses. Each proceeding may have multiple cases to be heard on the same day. The Human Resources Department may request an official transcript of the proceedings, on an as needed basis. Transcribed excerpts of testimony may be requested versus the entire transcript of the hearing and we anticipate approximately 3-6 hearing may need to be transcribed during the period above.
