Support the process of reviewing the student’s eligibility in the special education program, as well as their current placement Expedite the decision-making process of state assessments as well as the appropriate accommodations and designated supports for students with disabilities by the Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee Guide the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee through the Individualized Education Program for each student with a disability in compliance with the requirements of 34 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), §300.324 Generate all the legal documentation required by Federal and state regulations, including: Prior Written Notice, Parental Consent, and Notice of Meeting All the processes and procedures listed above MUST be in compliance with state policy 19 TAC Chapter 89 (and related subchapters), and the current PEIMS Attendance Handbook Offers a clear, concise, well organized, and understandable guide to the Individualized Education Plan to parents and educators for each student Fosters transparency and collaboration through multiple departments including Bilingual/ESL Education, 504 & RTI, as well as the Dyslexia Department Streamlines the documentation process for special education teachers in order to evaluate and monitors students’ Individual Education Program, as well as monitor progress on Annual Academic Goals and Objectives.
