Provide and install card access control, video surveillance, and public address/bell/clock systems as outlined in specifications. Active Threat System product and coordination are required. Where possible, the Contractor shall use the existing pathways cable and products as noted. Provide and install all necessary raceway and surface mount backboxes for a neat and professional installation. • The Contractor shall procure, install, terminate, label, and test any required structured cabling, including but not limited to Category cable, composite cable, and individual conductor cable. • The Contractor shall procure and provide to the Owner all required patch cords. • The Contractor shall label all cabling per the District standard labeling schema. • The Contractor shall provide all required access control equipment, software, and licensing for a fully functional access control system. • The Contractor shall label all card readers per the District standard labeling schema. • The Contractor shall coordinate any required painting or patching of door frames, ceilings, and walls with the District’s maintenance personnel. • The Contractor shall install new video surveillance cameras, including but not limited to associated mounts and licensing. • The Contractor shall label all video surveillance cameras per the Owner’s standard naming schema. • The Contractor shall coordinate with the District and The Consultant for camera views. The District holds final approval of all camera views. • The Contractor shall provide all required software and licensing for access control and video surveillance integration. • The 275100 Contractor shall provide all required equipment, software, and licensing for the public address/bell/clock system and integrative means for the Active Threat System. Informacast licensing and commissioning is provided by the District. • Refer to the associated Division 27 project specifications for more detailed General, Product, and Execution requirements. • For estimating purposes, the Contractor shall assume existing patch panels have the capacity for new Category 6 cabling. The Contractor shall coordinate MDF/IDF location with the District IT dept. • Provide access control, video surveillance, and public address system training. Training shall include usage and functionality at both administrator and user levels. • Project timeline: Kick-off – July 2024 & Substantial Completion – September, 2024.
