Specifications include, but are not limited to: The required services to be provided are remote Pharmacy Services. To maintain continuity of care and to minimize medication errors, RSH seeks services of a contractor that will provide one (1) remote pharmacist to the facility. The Pharmacist must have a minimum of three years' experience with a Texas State Psychiatric hospital caring for adult and geriatric patient populations. Regardless of lines processed per month, monthly fee is a flat monthly rate. Rusk State Hospital is a 288-bed hospital with physician coverage of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in addition to regular medical staff coverage on regular business days. The facility has 4 full time pharmacists, and 7 pharmacy technicians. The remote pharmacist will log onto RSH pharmacy software (WORx) within the performance schedule intervals listed in Section 6.3 to evaluate and verify medication orders so that they flow into the electronic medication administration record (MediMar) for nursing staff to document administration.
