Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tarrant County Juvenile Services is seeking responses from qualified providers interested in providing Residential Services for juveniles between the ages of 10 and 17 who are under the authority of the Juvenile Court. The types of residential facilities being sought include, but are not limited to: 1. Texas Department of Family and Protective Services licensed facilities including: a. Emergency Shelter; b. Short Term Residential Care c. Long Term Residential Care – Including Basic, Moderate, Specialized and Intensive levels of care; 2. Child Placing Agency; 3. Texas Department of State Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment programs; 4. Certified Secure Post Adjudication Correctional Facilities; 5. Certified Non-Secure Correctional Facilities, and 6. Out-of-State Licensed Residential Facilities. B. When seeking appropriate placement for juveniles, Tarrant County Juvenile Services will provide client background information as well as the specific reason for referral will be provided for the facility’s review prior to the scheduled evaluation.
