Specifications include, but are not limited to: Insurance Programs Review and advise of changes that is needed to the District’s Property and Casualty Programs which includes but is not limited to the following: o Workers’ Compensation (09/01 policy year) o Excess Workers’ Compensation (09/01 policy year) o Property (07/01 policy year) o Educator’s Legal Liability (aka Professional Liability) (09/01 policy year) o General Liability (09/01 policy year) o Auto Liability / Auto Physical Damage (09/01 policy year) o Underground Storage Tanks (07/01 policy year) o Fire Alarm Liability (07/01 policy year) o Crime (09/01 policy year) o Cyber (09/01 policy year) o Inland Marine (09/01 policy year) o Student Accident Insurance (08/01 policy year) Advise on benefits and risks of self-insurance, pool, or fully insured programs for the District’s programs Prepare RFP’s as needed for insurance, Third-Party Administrators, and other providers o All insurance policies are advertised for any agent to prepare a response. The purpose of the consultant/agent relationship is to objectively present the best option to the District with no further financial gain then what is mentioned within this RFP. o From time to time, the District may decide to prevent an agency/brokerage from “locking down the market”. If this occurs, the Consultant will be given first choice on which options to present to the District. Objectively evaluate and recommend proposals offering the broadest coverage terms and favorable premiums Assist the District in selection of appropriate policies to purchase Review policies and invoices for accuracy and process any changes as needed Risk Consulting Assist in identifying risk exposures to the District Analyze appropriate deductible/retention levels and limits of liability. Propose alternative risk financing options as appropriate. Identify and explain uninsured areas and recommend new coverage when warranted. Review indemnity and insurance sections of contracts when requested. Provide specialized knowledge and consultation regarding additional insured requirements, Assist with claim issues as needed. As requested by the District, provide claim reports on all lines of coverage placed by Consultant/Agent. Work with the District in maintenance and servicing of its Risk Management and insurance programs.
