Specifications include, but are not limited to: TTU is seeking competitive proposals to provide Occupational Health Services (“Services”) for TTU on an as-needed basis. The purpose of this RFP is to ensure the health of TTU personnel and students who have workplace exposure to particular health hazards known to pose risk for a potentially serious health condition, perform specific tasks, or require vaccinations that require a certain degree of health and fitness to assure employee/student and/or public health and safety. Locations to be serviced under any resulting contract(s) shall include the TTU Lubbock campus, TTU Amarillo campus, and satellite locations. Services shall include but are not limited to audiometric testing, drug and alcohol screening, chemical and biological exposure monitoring, vaccination for Hepatitis B and other foreign and exotic bacterial and viral agents, pulmonary function testing, occupational exposure consultation, and accreditation review services. TTU estimates an annual need of 500+ visits per year; Testing services shall include but are not limited to: A. Job-Related Physical Examination, Testing, and Screening, including but not limited to: • Audiogram with results within forty-eight (48) business hours; • Spirometry Test and OSHA Record Review; • X-ray lumbar five (5) views with results within forty-eight (48) business hours; • EKG with interpretation and immediate results; • Respirator fit testing; and • Blood lead level (PdB) and zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP) testing.
