Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Port of Houston Authority of Harris County, Texas (Port Authority or PHA), an independent political subdivision of the State of Texas, is seeking proposals for professional services to assist the Port Authority in the following: (1) business process capture, analysis and optimization, (2) functional requirements matrix (Appendix B) review, verification and alignment with the specific optimized business processes, (3) single platform concept implementation analysis (Appendix C) and (4) draft scope for single platform selection with implementation options. Furthermore, as optional bid items, the Port Authority is soliciting for supplemental staff in specific business areas and project coordination, independent of the successful proposer. This initiative will focus on the front-end planning in support of defining a single platform concept, that meets the Port Authority’s needs for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. This effort will include, but will not be limited to Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Asset Management, Maintenance, Program/Project Management and Real Estate. The overall goal of the Program is to reduce the number of core business systems, that are in scope down to one AND improve the overall integration of the remaining Port Authority’s systems to support future data driven decision making.
