Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the successful Bidder furnishing all qualified personnel, supervision, labor, services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, overhead and incidentals necessary for Mowing and Abatement for Harris County Public Health. The work to be performed by the Bidder shall include, but are not limited to, the following: • Contractors shall clean-up nuisance abatement site by mowing, edging, weed removal, and vegetation trimming (not tree) substantially deteriorated with growth of vegetation to a height of more than thirty-six (36) inches and all related material within the specified site. • Mowing activities during a Court Order shall be performed as a single occurrence unless written approval from the HCPH Specialist is obtained. • Avoid damage to desirable trees and shrubs by trimmers and mowers. • Mowers must leave a three (3) inch buffer zone around desirable trees and shrubs; this buffer zone may be required to be cleared using hand equipment. • Adjust mower cutting height to no less than three (3) inches. • Mowing of heavy brush with stems up to three (3) inches in diameter may be required in designated areas of dense vegetation.
