2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS The preventative maintenance includes system initial checks, user interface, electronics, analyzer front end, imaging, stage and column, and other general maintenance performed per specifications listed in the EDAX Octane Elect Plus/Apex installation/service manual, Copyright 2019. 3. TCEQ RESPONSIBILITIES A. TCEQ must provide access to the equipment for the technician on each date that services are rendered. B. TCEQ must provide documentation upon request of preventative or corrective maintenance as described in the EDAX Octane Elect Plus/Apex installation/service manual, Copyright 2019 and any subsequent revisions as released by the manufacturer. C. TCEQ must provide the resources necessary to move or transport equipment and/or accessories, as well as the services of other contractors (i.e., electricians, LAN manager) in modifying or correcting the TCEQ facility where such services are determined to be necessary by TCEQ. D. TCEQ must notify vendor of system malfunctions which need to be addressed by vendor. E. When necessary, TCEQ must send modules or parts of an instrument to the Contractor for repair. TCEQ must assume responsibility for packaging and prepaid shipping of these items. Vendor will be responsible for the return packaging and prepaid shipping of repaired/replaced items. 4. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES A. Contractor must provide one (1) regularly scheduled preventive maintenance checks that include inspection, testing, repairs and adjustments. This inspection will consist of a complete check of the instrument, alignment, and cleaning. B. Provider is not allowed to subcontract any of the services rendered. C. Contractor must provide unlimited on-site emergency and on-demand service on the equipment if remote diagnostics, replacement or exchange parts fail to resolve the problem. D. Contractor must provide unlimited technical phone support. Phone support must be available Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. – 4:00p.m. C.S.T., except holidays.
