Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Comprehensive, ongoing professional development and support for principals, district coordinators, instructional coaches, instructional specialists, and teachers. • Teachers and administrators will develop an understanding of the effective literacy classroom. • Teachers will develop a deep understanding of the reading and writing process and how to use this knowledge to design powerful tier one and intervention instruction for students. • Administrators, coordinators, coaches, and instructional specialists will increase understanding of the framework, instructional expectations, and non-negotiables of the effective literacy classroom. They will use this knowledge to coach and provide effective feedback to teachers.
