Specifications include, but are not limited to: a.Contractor shall maintain pressure vessels as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) codes for pressure vessel maintenance and repair. b.Contractor shall provide original ASME U-1A (Manufacturer’s Data Report for Pressure Vessels) form for all pressure vessels onsite, including all maintenance records at least four (4) business days prior to delivery of pressure vessel.i. Contractor shall deliver pressure vessels after City’s written approval of ASME U-1A. ii. Contractor shall ensure that pressure vessels comply with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII and American Petroleum Institute (API) 620 per OSHA 1910.103(c)(1)(i)(a).c.Contractor shall maintain pressure vessel coating.d.Contractor shall repair or replace pressure vessel components damaged by corrosion as requested by the City. Repairs shall be completed within eight (8) hours of request from the City.e.Austin Energy Sand Hill Energy Center – some pressure vessels will be located outdoors in the plume of a cooling tower subjected to a corrosion-promoting environment in excess of the normal corrosion rates expected on a pressure vessel.
