Specifications include, but are not limited to: Aualified Security Services Firms to provide Brackenridge Campus On-Site Security Services for a term commencing on 9/1/17 and continuing through approximately 8/31/18, with three (3) possible twelve (12) month renewal options. Central Health anticipates that security services will be required until the Master Developer or Contractor engaged by Central Health assumes control of the part of the Brackenridge Campus to be demolished. The security services required include, but may not be limited to, the following: • Providing on-site security services utilizing 24/7 un-armed security guards to be stationed as required throughout the Campus. • Assuring proactive security services, timely response, identification of site and facility needs and responsible fiscal administration. • Providing all management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, supplies, tools, vehicles, communications devices, equipment, and other items and services necessary to perform the work. • Patrolling Campus internal and external to protected areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, gates, etc. • Provide security checkpoints, watchman clocks or other guard patrol system at locations approved by Central Health to ensure regular security rounds are performed and recorded. • Answering alarms and investigating/assisting with disturbances. • Monitoring, documenting and authorizing entry and departure of employees, contractors, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of Campus. • Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. • Calling and interacting with police or fire departments in cases of emergency. • Communicating issues and concerns to Central Health.
