Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Euless is requesting sealed bids for project management and asbestos abatement within the site located at 1451 W Euless Blvd, Euless, Texas. The overall objective of this project is to complete/submit all required notifications, abate and dispose of all asbestos containing materials. The successful contractor will be expected to provide all tools, transportation, labor and equipment necessary to perform the required duties therein The following technical specifications shall address the proper removal, transportation and disposal of the asbestos-containing materials as listed below. The work activities will follow all applicable rules and regulations, including the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), the EPA National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as applicable. Contractor shall submit the DSHS/EPA required 10-day notification prior to beginning work. All work schedules shall be approved by consultant and City of Euless. Contractor shall supply all water and electricity needed to complete the project. This project will include the proper removal, transportation and disposal of asbestos containing materials as stated in the pre-demolition comprehensive asbestos survey report dated January 17, 2023.
