Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall have a vault at the Contractor’s place of business. The Contractor is responsible to meet all applicable federal and state laws regarding licensing and bonding while engaged in providing Armored Courier Services to the City. Contractor shall submit satisfactory evidence that it is in good standing in this regard. The Contractor shall include criteria for background checks and security clearance on armored courier personnel. Periodic statements on the company’s policy may be requested through the term of the agreement. The Contractor shall employ a minimum of two employees per vehicle. The Contractor must be able to transport multi-bag pick-ups or large tamper evident bags. The Contractor’s vehicles must have armor plating, or some means of bullet proof protection and bullet proof glass. All vehicles used to service the City’s account must be equipped with mobile telephones or two-way radios.
