Specifications include, but are not limited to: Coordinate removal of network connections from existing switches or other network devices (TAMU Responsibility); Decommission and remove the existing controllers, readers, power supplies and other hardware (Vendor Responsibility); If existing wiring is used certify wire (Vendor Responsibility); Installation: Replace controllers, sub-controllers, power supplies and backup batteries (Vendor Responsibility); Install new wiring as required (Vendor Responsibility); Install new readers according to system design (Vendor Responsibility); As necessary, replace any door position switches, REX devices or other system components to ensue system integrity and reliability (Vendor Responsibility); Identify and label existing controller wiring, reader wiring, network connections, etc. that will be used with the new system (Vendor Responsibility); Identify and remove existing wiring that will not be re-used. Where removal of existing wiring is not practical or possible the wire should be trimmed, neatly coiled, and labeled as abandoned and the termination point noted. (Vendor Responsibility); Program controller and settings according to Texas A&M University guidelines (TAMU Responsibility); Activation: Coordinate connection of controllers to the network, switches or other devices (Vendor Responsibility); Validate network connectivity to the controller with keyless administrator (Vendor Responsibility); Validate reader and controller operation with keyless administrator (Vendor Responsibility)
