Specifications include, but are not limited to: Gathering information about existing technology or creation of a web-based school safety planning and training platform that provides a secure environment for sensitive information and allows selective access for state, district, school, and community level interaction. TDOE seeks to establish a secure, web-based planning and training platform that provides access to stakeholders with identified roles in school safety. Stakeholders would include TDOE School Safety Center and Tennessee School Safety Advisory Team, school districts, school administrators, teachers and staff, and local emergency response personnel. Desirable functions of the platform might include the ability to: Develop, implement, share, and revise school and district emergency operations plans (EOPs) Develop, implement, share, and revise annexes (i.e., specialty plans) within emergency operations plan such as school transportation, continuity of operations, relocation/reunification, students with special needs, before/after school care, special events. Develop/or upload, and view school-level maps, blueprints, and floor plans utilizing layer tabs to pull pertinent emergency information. Utilize information found within EOP to create classroom or school bus flip charts and signs. Provide real-time student accountability during a crisis utilizing student attendance system. Provide documentation, reporting, and tracking of school emergency drills.
