The Master Plan should include: - Identify and clarify themes and values on which the community should focus its public art resources, including the prioritization of projects proposed, with a projected timeline and financial strategy for Master plan implementation. - State a public art vision and mission aligned with the city’s strategic economic and urban design goals. - Ensure a responsible and transparent stewardship of a Public Art Fund. - Include long-term strategy for disbursement of the Public art Fund. - Establish and promote a long-term commitment to new genre public art. - Establish preferred categories and offer protocols for selecting and placement of temporary and permanent public artwith respect to city attributes, public space opportunities, community priorities and contemporary trends in public art that will help establish Germantown as a regional destination for arts and culture.
