Specifications include, but are not limited to: To assist with child outcomes and improved family engagement the agency concluded a three year correlational study on its Head Start/early Head Start program. Documentation from year three in the study showed overall improvement in several areas related to outcomes for children. Researchers are needed to compare these results to National outcomes for Head Start/ Early Head Start as well as to analyze the results against changes made within the agency to improve outcomes and parent engagement. Comparison of overall agency changes during this time and the impact on the quality of those interventions to impact child outcomes. Researchers may also recommend expanded areas of scope for evaluation. Evaluation should be inclusive of interviews with teachers, center staff, and other educational personnel to name a few. The overall goal we plan to achieve is to strengthen child outcomes for children as well as improve the overall engagement with families related to child growth and development. The outcomes will be measured using our family engagement tools, data from the head Start Program Information Report (PIR), child assessments and data from the correlational study. Additionally we want to contribute to evidenced based practices in the field. Must be an experienced researcher with documented evidenced of research experience using research based software as well as analytics software. Knowledge of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) strongly preferred.
