Specifications include, but are not limited to: LAC Organization, Preparation, and Storage in the Current Facility. The Contractor shall organize, prepare, and relocate all LAC materials. In the Current Facility, the LAC is stored in traditional shelving, archival and records boxes, climate controlled vaults, cabinets, and map cases. In addition to shelved materials, the Contractor shall: 1. Relocate approximately two hundred fourteen (214) cabinets and eighty-six (86) map cases with contents to remain in existing cabinets. 2. Relocate the contents of an additional eighty-three (83) cabinets and four (4) map cases transfer into new cabinets and cases at the New Facility. e. LABM Collection Size. With holdings of approximately ten thousand (10,000) volumes at ninety-four (94) linear feet, the LABM collection also housed at the current location and shall be relocated to the new building. The LABM collection includes bound large print and Braille materials. f. Relocation of Equipment and Storage. The Contractor shall be responsible for relocation of the LAC and cabinets and cases listed in A.3.d. The Contractor shall not be responsible for relocation of the following: 1. Office furniture; 2. Office and library supplies; 3. Computers and technical equipment; 4. Library shelving; and 5. Exhibition display cases. g. LAC ASRS Storage in the New Facility. In the New Facility, approximately seventy-five percent (75%) of the LAC will be stored in the ASRS supplied by Dematic. ASRS storage includes bins and ASRS shelving units, some of which are adjustable, for robotic retrieval.
