Specifications include, but are not limited to: use funding to replace antiquated Telecor Intercom System Master Control Unit that has 58 zones used with 30 Hallway speakers and 60 Classroom speakers. Replace two existing Administration Phones, reterminate existing wiring, and add four new zones to new Intercom Master Control Unit installed by contractor. ; The Contractor shall provide and install a new Valcom, Telecor, Bogen, and/or equivalent Intercom System capable of holding minimum of 75 stations with the ability to expand per these Specifications. Installation methods shall comply with the N.E.C and all Local and State codes having jurisdiction. The installation includes removing old intercom, installing new intercom, reterminating existing wiring with proper labelling on 66 termination block, and hook up and checkout of system after installation using existing wiring and all associated parts. ; The Contractor shall re-use existing call station and speaker receptacles and wiring to connect to the new system and ensure connectivity and performance. The Contractor shall test for functionality prior to system changeover and report any failures to SCS Project Manager.
