Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Germantown is seeking a vendor to assist with implementation of a marketing campaign to meet the requirements of the (TDEC) - Education and Outreach Grant (Grant) received by the City. The City works with a contractor (Waste Pro of Tennessee) for the collection of solid waste which includes recycling and collects from approximately 13,600 households. The campaign is designed to evaluate the habits of residents as it relates to recycling practices; educate residents on the materials that are acceptable in the curbside recycling program; inform residents on the proper placement of recycling container for collection and provide the city with materials to communicate the message to residents at meetings and special events. Qualified vendors must operate within a 50 mile radius of Germantown. The selected vendor should be familiar with the components and requirements of the Grant and the City’s application and will work closely with the City’s neighborhood services and marketing communications staff to ensure the marketing campaign meets the Germantown standards for quality and accuracy. Specifications ● Design and print postcard mailer with recycling information and mail to all 13,600 households. Estimated quantity 20,000 ● Development of oops/praise tags. Estimated quantity less than 15,000 each ● Hiring and coordination of part-time (20 hours per week for 10 weeks) staff (2) to walk streets and inspect contents of recycle carts on collection days to document habits of residents and leaving an oops/praise tag ● Design and produce promotional magnet highlighting recycling program. Estimated quantity 15,000 ● Design and print full-color brochure outlining recycling program for distribution at events, in new resident packets, etc. Estimated quantity 15,000 ● Design of print ad and two insertions in Germantown Go! Magazine ● Production of two-minute animated video info-graphic for use on city webpage ● Production of expo-style table top display for events ● Design of social media creative for use on various social media platforms ● Write and design PowerPoint presentation for use at educational events for adults and children ● Contractor should incorporate where possible, per the Grant, graphics and templates created by the Recycling Partnership (recyclingpartnership.org) into the design of the above items ● Contractor is responsible for all design, artwork and creative for all of the items included in the proposal ● All costs associated with this project are the responsibility of the Contractor. The City of Germantown has final editorial approval and assumes final proofreading responsibility; this does not eliminate the Contractor’s editorial responsibility. The Contractor will make all changes as requested by the City at each review.
