Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro Nashville Board of Education (MNPS) requires that at least two inspections and red tagging per school year for each kitchen hood fire suppression system. Most of the high schools in the district have more than one Hood Suppression system. The Inspector will need to schedule inspections ahead of time with the MNPS Nutrition Services Equipment Coordinator, or designee. At the time of inspections an MNPS Electronics Department representative will assist you in checking in at the school locations A metro Nashville Public School representative must be present when tested. The inspector shall make every effort to conduct inspection/testing activities with minimal disruption to normal school operations
