Specifications include, but are not limited to: The respondent must have the ability to develop program(s) that support parents and alternative school students (i.e., reduce recidivism, increase parental involvement, etc.) The respondent must lead and conduct a series of trainings for parents of Alternative School students who have been banned from their child’s school The respondent must function as a liaison to parents, on state, local, and federal government regarding key issues The respondent must be flexible to be available during day and evening hours The respondent must explain a systematic process for maintaining confidentiality of records and data for students and parents Respondent must response to principal or school designee within 48 hours (i.e., principal referrals, parent issues, etc.) The respondent must describe their ability to leverage partnerships with community entities and the court system for support services The respondent must demonstrate an understanding of urban school settings of similar size and demographics dealing with at-risk students The respondent must articulate the measurable outcomes, determined by baseline data, by tracking parent perception, student recidivism, and parent engagement.
