Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro is seeking proposals from qualified Offerors to conduct ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Commercial Building Energy Audits for Levels I, II, and III. The Offeror must be able to conduct energy audits for all three levels for selected facilities. The Offeror shall survey each facility on-site and assess building equipment, site conditions, and operations. The Offeror shall review and analyze utility data for all energy and water sources to each facility, and calculate the energy use index (EUI) of each facility. The Offeror shall breakdown energy usage for end-use equipment, such as boilers, chillers, HVAC units, electrical systems, etc. The Offeror will use its knowledge of economics and the environment in HVAC and building systems to recommend quality, maximum payback energy-reducing measures and operations. Energy, cost, and payback projections must be made for each recommendation. Offeror shall conduct interviews or surveys with building occupants/staff, in order to learn about ongoing issues, comfort levels, etc.
